The science of cupcakes is the combination of several ingredients to create reactions to create cupcakes.I found that the different ingredients created different reactions. Some of the cupcakes were sweeter than others and some were oily than others. The end results were different gave different ingredients tastes and textures.
I made three batches of cup cakes using different ingredients . I wanted to see which batch of cupcakes would taste the best. Also, to learn about the science behind cupcakes.
Trail 1 -
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- White Cake Mix
Trial 2-
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
- White cake mix
Trial 3-
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- White cake mix
Results- With trial one , the cupcakes came out smooth and was moist. The cupcakes were also very sweet. In trial two , you could taste the yogurt and it had a bumpy texture to it. The cupcakes were sweeter than the first ones. In trail three, the cupcakes were very oily and not very sweet.
