Jailiah's Crispy fruit crips

     Jailiah's Crsipy Fruit Crisp!!!

Fruit crisp is a dessert that contains mainly fruits, oats, and brown sugar. Also in the U.K they refer to this dessert as a "crumble". So I decide to switch up something different in the cooking process. The main thing would be what holds the crumble together. After getting the recipe and doing some science research I found out that starches are a big factor when it comes to baking things.
Science behind baking with starches:
  •  Starch is noted for their idiosyncrasies( an abnormal physical reaction)
  • When liquid comes in contact the starches soak it up

So in the experiment I decided to switch up the use of the two starches that the recipe called for which where flour and corn starch. There were three different trails while preparing for the I made on with only flour, one with both flour and corn starch and then one with only corn starch pictures below.
  1.  Has only corn starch was very lose mixture
  2. Had a very together mixture
  3. Had a very tough mixture
